Disabling the Radar on a RIC290

We are regularly asked, how can we turn off the radar on a RIC 290?

This can now easily be done within the parameters without the need to disconnect the ribbon cable.

Any sensor that needs to be disabled must be programmed as either AKA1 or AKA2

Deactivation of Aka when closing:

Select PARAM STG,

INPUTS OUTPUTS,

AKA IN

You can then select when you want to turn off the radar

AKA active all the time

AKA Inactive in 1way and locked.

AKA Disabled all the time

Please note that having the AKA active will add to any safety functionality during the closing cycle.
